I am evaluating SqlDbx after Toad.
Goal - develop and debug DB2 SQL PL stored procedures
Some areas that would help a lot in editor:
1) goto line command
2) option to show line numbers on a left side
3) Highlight matching parentheses and brackets
4) When word (variable) is selected, highlight all similar words
1. Agree. Will be added
2. Go to Options->Editor and check "Show Line Numbers"
3. This is on a list of features to be added
4. Interesting idea.

2) Thank you for pointing. Would be great to have this option on a right click editor menu for a fast on/off access
4) I use this extensively in Netbeans IDE Editor - very helpful for java code - as would be for a long stored procedures
1 and 4 were included in 3.32 release

One note about parentheses - they are very important.
I literally have to work with open netbeans to be able to ballance parentheses
