Side Scrolling left or right with mouse wheel.

Side scrolling left or right with the mouse wheel works fine when in focus to the script window, but it fails miserably when trying to side scroll in the results. The scroll bar at the bottom moves while the cursor only moves 1 cell in either direction.

Can we please get this fixed ?

Re: Side Scrolling left or right with mouse wheel.

I do not see any issues side scrolling in results.
Not sure what you mean by "cursor only moves 1 cell"

Re: Side Scrolling left or right with mouse wheel.

Version 3.61 x64 on Windows 7 Pro SP1. DB2.

Do a query with say 15 columns, with the mouse select the very first row, column 1 (ie: cell). Then use the side scrolling mouse to scroll to the right. The scroll bar at the bottom moves as expected, but the cell in focus (ie: highlighted) does not. Thereby the scroll bar and the cell selected are now out of synch. The scroll bar is all the way to right, but the row/column selected (ie: cell) has not moved. The selected cell must move with the scroll bar as it does in say Excel.

When you grab and hold the scroll bar, then drag it left or right, that should be the exact same behaviour as when using the side scrolling mouse wheel. At present, that is just not the case.

I am sorry, but I am unaware of any application that behaves the way you describe if I understood your description correctly.
Are you saying that active cell should change when you scroll up / down / left / right. Excel does not behave like this.

Re: Side Scrolling left or right with mouse wheel.

No, I just described it wrong in my original post and I am sorry for the confusion. Not the active cell, but the content you are viewing. Grabbing the scroll bar and dragging it to the right leaves the active cell as is, but the content you are viewing (ie: columns) scroll with the bar, so as you drag it left/right whatever, the viewable content also scrolls with it, always in synch.

However if you use the side scrolling mouse wheel feature, the scroll bar moves, but the viewable content does not. It works fine up/down, but does not work in the same fashion when scrolling left/right. I'm afraid I don't know how else to describe it.

Re: Side Scrolling left or right with mouse wheel.

I cannot reproduce it. Looks that it works fine on Windows 7

Re: Side Scrolling left or right with mouse wheel.

Some changes were made. Did they fix your issue with scrolling?

Doesn't look like it, sorry. Still exactly the same issue.
