Oracle connection time

Hi,
I like the features of sqldbx but connection time to oracle dbs are slower than oracle sql developer or sql++.
When I try to connect an oracle db (11gR2) over sql developer, it takes 2 seconds.
But when I try to connect over sqldbx(DBMS type : oracle) it takes over 10 seconds to the same database. Is there any way to improve connection time?
Thanks
PS.I disabled show table row count option in registry.

Re: Oracle connection time

SqlDbx and oracle sql developer run different queries when connecting.
Probably SqlDbx loads more data from database.
What about executing regular queries?
If you interested I can email you set of queries SqlDbx runs when connecting.
May be there's an issue with one of them running slow in your environment

Re: Oracle connection time

There is no problem about exection of regular queries. The main problem is connection time.
I would be appreciated if you send the queries. We may have a chance to compare.
Thanks

Re: Oracle connection time

I am having this same issue. I believe it may be limited to 11g databases. When I connect to a 10g database it takes just a few second but connecting to an 11g database take 10 minutes or more. Is there a new release available that addresses this issue?
