As I'm working this morning and needing to compare code, I thought it would be a great enhancement to be able to toggle tabs into tiles so code can be seen on two or more tabs concurrently.

Why not to use quick compare. Just select code from first tab and drag and drop it on main toolbar quick diff button.
Repeat for the second tab and you will see difference in a new window right away.

It's not just about comparing in that sense. In the scenario I was decribing, I was looking at older code from which I wanted to cut and paste sections, move things around, and see examples of how certain code snippets were written. I am talking about being interactive with two code files; one I am working on, and another that is already deployed.
