Re: Will you support SAP HANA?

Currently we do not plan to natively support SAP HANA.
Generic ODBC connection should work.
If you have issue with ODBC connection let us know and we will take a look

Re: Will you support SAP HANA?

Can you provide more help for setting up a HANA connection?

What "DBMS type" should be used for Generic ODBC type? The choices I have in the dropdown for DBMS type don't include "Generic ODBC".

When I try ODBC (DNS) I don't know what to specify for the DSN value.

I have a server (name/IP), a port, a username, and pw.

thanks.

Re: Will you support SAP HANA?

1. Start SqlDbx
2. Click menu Tools->ODBC Administrator
3. Select tab System DSN in ODBC Data Source Administrator
4. Press Add...
5. Select driver for SAP HANA and configure it. If it has option to Test connection do it.
6. In SqlDbx in Login Dialog select DBMS Type: ODBC
7. Press ... button and select DSN you created in step 5
8. Hopefully everything works and you able to connect and run queries

Re: Will you support SAP HANA?

Thank you for the step by step.

In step 8, it gave an error message, "The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application" which indicated that I had a 32 bit 64 bit mismatch between the driver and the applicaiton. When I tried it with the 64 bit SqlDbx version, it connected!

Thanks!
