When I open SqlDbx to view the QTEMP schema/database on my DB2/iSeries system, there are no tables displayed. I assume this is because the table list shows the QSYS2.tables list, and temporary tables aren't stored in there.
Is there any way to show the temporary tables as well?
Also, when I connect to the QSYS2 schema/database, none of the views (such as tables, columns etc) are displayed. Again, is there any way to show them?
Thanks

So far we are unable to find a way to show temp tables from QTEMP by using only SQL.
In case of selecting QSYS2 schema you do not see objects from it because they
considered to be system objects and show up in "System Objects" window

Thanks for that. My "Sysytem Objects" section is always empty, although it's not urgent...

How do you connect to iSeries: native or ODBC?
If you use ODBC then a lot of features will be missing.

Using ODBC. Not sure how to connective any other way...

Sorry, I take that back. I don't connect any other way as I have the personal edition which doesn't support connecting in any other way.

ODBC connection is very limited.
You will not be able to correctly script tables and see stored procedures source.
This is why you do not see QSYS2 tables in "System Objects"

Ah ok, thanks. I'm limited to the personal version as I can't get the funds from work for the pro version.
Thanks for your help.

How can I get a query to fetch rows from tables in different libraries ? In my setup I am able to get query from only one library at a time. I have to change the library from the drop down and then select the table library.
However I was able to do this in my previous company. Please let me know where can i change the settings to achieve this. I have sqldbx x64 ver 3.57 Professional edition connected to DB2/400

This is not SqlDbx issue.
I believe it has to do with user or database server setup.
Take a look at the value of the CURRENT PATH register
